Cataract Surgery is the removal of the natural lens of the eye that has developed a cataract, an opaque or cloudy area. The eye's natural lens is usually replaced with an artificial intraocular lens (IOL) implant.
Glaucoma
Glaucoma is a group of eye diseases that can cause vision loss and blindness by damaging a nerve in the back of your eye called the optic nerve. The symptoms can start so slowly that you may not notice them.
Vitrectomy
Vitrectomy is a type of eye surgery used to treat problems of the eye’s retina and vitreous.
During a vitrectomy, the retinal surgeon removes some or all of the vitreous from the middle of your eye. Once the vitreous is removed, the surgeon can do any repairs to the retina as needed. This vitreous is replaced with bubble made of gas or oil.
Pterygium
Pterygium surgery involves removal of the abnormal tissue from the sclera and cornea of the eye.
