Trinidad Eye Hospital presents Christmas in July! The “Gift of Sight” charity event is carded for 30th July 2018 and will be co-ordinated by Dr. Ronnie Bhola and his team of surgeons, nurses and healthcare professionals. On Monday 30th July 2018, twenty (20) visually-impaired patients will have their cataracts removed to restore their vision. This venture is in keeping with the Ministry of Health of Trinidad and Tobago’s plan to reduce the backlog of cataract surgeries. It is also in keeping with the World Health Organization’s global initiative to ‘Eliminate Avoidable Blindness, VISION 2020: The Right to Sight’.
