Dr. Dorian Dwarika is a consultant with the retinal surgical team of the Trinidad Eye Hospital. He did his MBBS degree at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex.
After several years of service in the public hospitals in Trinidad and Tobago, he furthered his Ophthalmology training in the UK. He is a member of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (Edinburgh).
Upon his return to Trinidad and Tobago, he started work as a consultant ophthalmologist for the Tobago Regional Health Authority and continues to perform creditably in this role. In Tobago, he initiated the provision of clinical ophthalmic services, and was instrumental in developing it into one of the top public eye care clinics in the Caribbean.
He has made numerous conference presentations regionally as well as internationally, and has several publications to his credit.
