Dr. Sheldon Olton is a Consultant who graduated with his MBBS Degree and Post Graduate qualifications in Anaesthesia from the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex. He is a highly skilled and valued member of the surgical team at the Trinidad Eye Hospital. For 5 years he held the position of the Department Leader of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex and continues to work in that department today.
Dr. Olton has given noble service to the public Healthcare system in Trinidad & Tobago for several years. He has served as an esteemed member of many boards including the Specialty Board at the University of the West Indies and many other Specialty Committees related to his field.
He is a proud member of Trinidad and Tobago Anaesthetist Association, Society of Critical Care Medicine, Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists and American Society of Anesthesiologists.
Currently, he is an Associate Lecturer and Examiner in Anaesthesia/Intensive Care at the University of the West Indies and has been doing this for more than a decade.
Dr. Olton has been and continues to be a key contributor to all of the charity and outreach initiatives at the Trinidad Eye Hospital. We are grateful for his commitment to our mission of providing quality affordable eyecare for all.
